Our training courses are aimed at European teachers and other experts in the field of higher education for adults, especially in the field of Spanish as a foreign language.

These courses can be 100% funded by the Erasmus plus programme, in particular under Key Action 1 (KA121-SCH, KA122-SCH, KA121-ADU, KA122-ADU, KA121-VET, KA122-VET). Teachers, trainers, lecturers, principals and other staff of educational organisations can receive a grant covering all costs, including travel, accommodation, subsistence and course fees.

Summary and description of the Spanish course

This intensive Spanish course is offered as a one-week total immersion in Spanish, which guarantees a good balance between grammar and conversation.

The course is designed to suit the needs of two levels of proficiency: Basic (for participants with A1/A2 level) and Intermediate (for participants with B1/B2 level). You will be able to choose the level that best suits your needs.

The objectives of this course are to improve your Spanish language skills through the implementation of experimental Spanish learning methods and practices.

Thanks to this course you will be able to:

  • Improve your understanding of spoken and written Spanish by listening and interacting with native speakers.
  • Master the rules of Spanish grammar from simple to complex structures.
  • Improve your writing skills and learn useful tricks to remember accents and punctuation rules.
  • Distinguish the difference between Peninsular and Latin American Spanish.
  • Introduce you to different Spanish learning methods and tools to help you improve your independent study.

Here is an example of a standard daily programme that is customised according to your needs and professional profile. This model programme consists of 7 course days, where the first day is dedicated to preparation and cultural immersion and the last day to follow-up, specific needs and cultural activities.

However, please note that we always do our best to adapt to your needs in a flexible way, including, but not limited to, budget constraints and your travel arrangements. As an à la carte programme, we can arrange longer or shorter programmes.

What is ERASMUS+ and ERASMUS+ KA1?

Erasmus+ is the European Union’s programme for education, training, youth and sport. In the field of Education and Training it offers opportunities in all educational sectors: Higher Education, Vocational Education and Training, School Education and Adult Education.

This programme provides grants for a wide range of measures, including giving students the opportunity to undertake internships and offer teacher training courses abroad.

In the case of students, the objectives pursued are to improve school performance, improve job prospects, enhance personal development and participation in society.

Erasmus+ KA1 is part of the Erasmus+ Actions and offers a unique opportunity for teachers, professors, principals, trainers and other school staff to participate in international training courses in different European countries.

This programme promotes mobility opportunities and is specifically designed for teachers and administrative staff of an educational institution who, for various reasons, need to receive certain types of linguistic, methodological or management training.

The objectives are to improve your competences, to increase your capacity to support the modernisation of the educational or training organisation you are part of, and to broaden your knowledge of other practices, systems and policies.

Who is the ERASMUS+ KA1 programme aimed at?

The Erasmus+ KA1 programme is aimed at students, teachers, lecturers, administrative staff and other professionals from educational institutions in countries participating in the programme.

Beneficiaries must be at least 18 years of age and be enrolled in an educational institution or working in an organisation participating in the Erasmus+ Programme. Please note that the specific requirements may vary according to the description and the type of activity, so we recommend checking the information provided by the Erasmus+ National Agency of the relevant country.

In general, the Erasmus+ Programme offers opportunities to:

  • Higher Education and Vocational Education and Training students wishing to study, train or gain work experience abroad (including mobilities to and from Europe in the field of Higher Education).
  • Secondary school students wishing to undertake a period of study abroad.
  • Teachers, trainers, administrative staff who wish to teach, train and gain new career prospects abroad, or share their experience.
  • Companies and Higher Education institutions to collaborate and strengthen the business potential of both staff and students, as well as to help organisations improve their response to the needs of the labour market.

How can I participate?

To participate in the Erasmus+ KA1 programme, you must follow these steps:

  1. Contact the international office of your educational institution: Most educational institutions have an international relations or mobility department, which can provide you with information on available mobility programmes and participation requirements.
  2. Search for mobility opportunities: Once you have informed yourself about the available mobility programmes, look for opportunities that suit your needs and objectives. We will provide you with detailed information about the training course, about our school, our experience and we will advise you on how to fill in the application form.
  3. Check eligibility requirements: Each mobility programme has specific eligibility requirements. Make sure you meet all requirements before applying.
  4. Submit your application: Once you have contacted our school and meet the eligibility requirements, you will need to submit an application. The application may require a letter of motivation, a CV, a transcript of records and references.
  5. Wait for the decision and keep your fingers crossed: Once you have submitted your application, you will have to wait to be notified whether you have been selected or not. If you have been selected, you will receive information on the next steps in the process, such as obtaining health insurance, finding accommodation and organising your travel arrangements.
