What data do we process, and who receives it<\/h2>\n

This quote-request form<\/strong> (reached from the \u201crequest a quote\u201d button on the landing page, and part of the same process even though it opens on a separate page) collects: name, email, date of birth, nationality, occupation, number of people to cover and, where applicable, the date of birth and occupation of any dependants, whether any pre-existing medical condition exists, your preferred coverage start date, any deadline for receiving the quote, any add-ons requested, your city of residence, and your admission letter from your study centre. This data is only accessible to the Agent.<\/p>\n

If you proceed with the policy application:<\/strong> the Agent will additionally collect, as required by ASISA’s own forms, your ID\/passport number, marital status, address, weight and height, a copy of your passport’s biometric page, and the health questionnaire (medical history, procedures, treatments, medication, habits, recognised disability, etc.). If the insured person is a minor, the same identification and contact data, and a copy of the passport biometric page, will also be collected from their parent or legal guardian, as the policyholder responsible for the minor. This data, together with what was already collected in the quote-request form, is shared with ASISA for the assessment, issuance and administration of the policy.<\/p>\n

Payment data:<\/strong> premium payment is handled directly through ASISA’s own payment gateway; neither the Agent nor Instituto Hisp\u00e1nico collects or stores your banking or card details.<\/p>\n

Purpose and legal basis<\/h3>\n

To manage your quote request and, where applicable, to arrange your ASISA health insurance policy. The legal basis is the performance of the insurance contract and, for health data, your explicit consent (Art. 9 GDPR).<\/p>\n
