The Technician in Pharmacy and Parapharmacy qualification is an official credential recognised by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, with a duration of two years and 2000 hours. Through this Intermediate Training, you will learn how to prepare and dispense pharmaceutical and parapharmaceutical products, as well as manage prescriptions in various establishments within the sector.

This Vocational Training in Pharmacy offers excellent career opportunities, as it is one of the most in-demand programmes at present. Train as a Pharmacy Technician and develop your career in community pharmacies, medicine warehouses, laboratories, or hospital centres, both public and private.

Additionally, the first year is shared with the Vocational Training in Auxiliary Nursing Care, meaning that in three years you can obtain two degrees.

Requirements to enrol

To study this vocational cycle, a minimum grade is not required, but you must hold one of the following qualifications:

  • Compulsory Secondary Education, Baccalaureate, BUP, COU, or equivalents
  • Basic Vocational Training
  • Auxiliary Technician or equivalent
  • Access test for Intermediate Degree
  • University entrance examination
