When will you need a CEFR level certificate?

The CEFR is often used by employers and in academic settings. You may need a CEFR certificate for:

  • School admissions. Before starting a course, you need to test your level.

Language learners use the CEFR levels for self-assessment so that they can define more clearly what they need to work on and work out what they would like to achieve in their target language. Some of your options for official exams (or for courses with certification) are:

  • DELE, SIELE for Spanish.
