From February 7th to 12th we were pleased to welcome a GLYN SCHOOL trip from Surrey, England, the only boys’ comprehensive in Surrey and one of the county’s best-performing schools.
Founded in 1927 and judged by Ofsted in May 2012 as ‘outstanding’ for the second time.
In 2012 and 2013, Glyn was rated as the fourth non-selective boys’ school in England for its GCSE performance. Ofsted visited Glyn for a subject inspection of Modern Foreign Languages in March 2011 and for full inspections in January 2009 and May 2012. Each time Ofsted has awarded the school ‘outstanding’ status.
This is the 5th consecutive year we are happy to welcome this prestigious school. A group of 11 boys and 2 group leaders spent a week in Murcia in a Spanish language immersion course, enjoying our culture, way of living and awesome weather.
They had a pretty busy activity programme such us a Spanish course, guided visits to places of cultural interest, hands-off cooking lessons, salsa classes… and they were also officially welcomed by our Tourism & Culture Councilor Mr Jesús Pacheco in the Murcia Town Hall meeting room.
You will find more than 50 pictures in our FACEBOOK FAN PAGE here and some brilliant videos in our YOUTUBE CHANNEL.
We look forward to seeing you all next year, lads! Greetings from the whole Instituto Hispánico team. We spent an awesome time with you in Murcia.
