From October 29th to November 4th we were very proud to welcome a school trip from Svenska samskolan i Tammerfors, a Swedish secondary school in Tampere, Finland. SST is a Swedish-language school for youth in grades 1-9 and I-III G in high school. Samskolan mission is to provide high-quality general education.

A group of 12 boys & girls and 2 group leaders spent some days in Murcia enjoying our culture, way of living and awesome weather. We organised a religious programme visiting: We organized a meeting in the seminary of San José de la Vega, a Jesús Maria school visit and students exchange, a meeting with students of confirmation, a visit to the church of San Pedro, where Father Dieudonné explained the liturgy, a visit to the house of the Sisters Franciscanas de la Purísima, a trip to Caravaca and a talk with the Imam of the mosque in Beniaján.

They also had a pretty busy activity programme such us Spanish lessons, guided visits to places of cultural interest, salsa lessons, and they were first welcome by our local government Culture Representative Mr Jesús Pacheco in the Murcia Town Hall meeting room.
