From January 27th to February 4th 2019 we were pleased to welcome a school trip from Sortland VGS, Norway
Sortland is a town and the administrative centre of Sortland Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The town is located on the east coast of the island of Langøya, along the Sortlandsundet strait. In 1997, the municipality decided to declare “town status” for the urban area of Sortland. It is also the largest town and commercial centre in the whole Vesterålen region and it is becoming known as “the blue town by the strait” («den blå byen ved sundet») since many of the buildings are painted blue.
This is the first time we welcome this prestigious school. A group of 8 awesome girls led by Mr Andoni Arroyo spent a week in Murcia immersed in a Spanish language course, enjoying our culture, way of living and awesome weather.
They had a pretty tight activity programme such us a Spanish course, guided visits to places of cultural interest, hands-off cooking lessons, salsa classes, a day trip to Cartagena, … and they were also officially welcomed by Mr Rafael Gómez, Deputy Councilor for Education, Relations with Universities and Heritage, in the Murcia Town Hall meeting room.
You will find more than pictures in our FACEBOOK FAN PAGE here and some brilliant videos in our YOUTUBE CHANNEL
We look forward to seeing you all next year, ladies! Greetings from the whole Instituto Hispánico team. We spent an awesome time with you in Murcia.
