Visit from WEST BUCKLAND School (Devon)

From February 17th to 21st we were pleased to welcome a WEST BUCKLAND SCHOOL trip. Founded in 1858 it is an independent day and boarding school set in 100 acres of beautiful North Devon countryside in the South West of England.

Today, West Buckland is a vibrant school with a strong supportive community, welcoming nearly 700 children aged from three to eighteen years into their Nursery, Preparatory, Senior School and Sixth Form.

A group of 9 boys and girls and 2 group leaders spent a week in Murcia in a Spanish language immersion course, enjoying our culture, way of living and awesome weather.

They had a pretty busy activity programme such us a Spanish course, guided visits to places of cultural interest, hands-off cooking lessons, salsa classes… and they were also officially welcomed by our local government Culture Representative Mr Rafael Gómez in the Murcia Town Hall meeting room.

You will find more pictures in our FACEBOOK FAN PAGE here and some brilliant videos in our YOUTUBE CHANNEL.

We look forward to seeing you all next year, guys! Greetings from the whole Instituto Hispánico team. We spent an awesome time with you in Murcia!
