Phase 1: Spanish course (6 months) *OPTIONAL

  • Objective: reach level B1.2 / B2.1.

🗓️ Course dates:

  • Start: 01 March
  • End: end of  August

📍 Where: Instituto Hispánico de Murcia, an accredited school of the Cervantes Institute, enabling students to prepare a study visa application through recognised training and the appropriate supporting documentation. At the end of this course, there will be a level exam to confirm that you are ready to continue with the Vocational Training program (FP).

Phase 2: Vocational Training (FP) – 2 years

👉 Once you master the language, you will begin your Vocational Education and Training program. Direct access is guaranteed, subject to language level and academic requirements. You can find detailed information about this Higher Vocational Training below.

🪪 VISAS AND CANCELLATIONS

🔵 I NEED THE SPANISH COURSE AT INSTITUTO HISPÁNICO DE MURCIA

You should be aware that you will need two different student visas: one for the Spanish course and another for the FP, as these are separate studies.

🟢 STEP 1

Apply for the student visa for the Spanish course in Murcia

📅 At least 2 months before the start of the course, in January
📍 At the Spanish consulate in your country

🟢 STEP 2

Once in Murcia, you will be able to enrol in the FP and apply for a new student visa

📅 Before June (two months before the start of the FP)

✈️ No need to leave Spain

⚠️ This visa is not an extension, as these are different studies

After paying €1,000 (deductible from the total cost of the course) to the vocational training (FP) partner company as a registration fee, you will receive your enrollment certificate, which is required to apply for a visa at the Immigration Office.

🎓 What does this Higher Vocational Training Degree (Grado Superior) consist of?

  • Level: Equivalent to the initial university level (Level 5 of the European Qualifications Framework).

    • Hold a High School Diploma (Bachillerato), or
