Do you think these are enough reasons to become an Erasmus student and do your internship at our international Spanish language school in Murcia?

Don't know what the Erasmus+ program is?

This is a European Union program that allows you, as a university student or graduate, to travel to another European country to carry out an internship in any type of public or private organisation: commercial or service companies, educational centres, museums, NGOs, etc.

These internships can be short or long term, and are offered in a wide variety of sectors. They consist of a paid internship at our international Spanish language school in Murcia. Your university will be able to support you financially to cover accommodation and living expenses, depending on the country of origin, between 300 and €600 per month. Ask your school or university for more information.

And if you are a British citizen you have the option of the Turing Scheme.

And what happens after your ERASMUS+ internship?

The benefits of the Erasmus+ internship do not end at the end of the internship period. Students who have completed an Erasmus+ internship at our school gain valuable international work experience, enhance their resume, expand their network, and improve their language and cultural skills.

In addition, this experience helps them develop personal skills such as adaptability, problem solving and self-confidence.

The European Commission has recently published a study that shows, with objective data, the enormous impact that an Erasmus scholarship has on the professional success of students.

Almost 50,000 students, around 10,000 employees and 12,000 recent graduates were interviewed about their experiences with the ERASMUS program before entering the working world, and the conclusions drawn were that:

  • More than 70% of the former Erasmus students interviewed admit that, after returning to their home countries, they had a much clearer vision of where to direct their professional career.
  • Erasmus alumni are more satisfied with their work than their peers.
  • 80% of the students who benefited from the experience found jobs within three months of graduating.
  • For 72% of them, being former Erasmus students was crucial to get their first job.
  • 9 out of 10 employees state that the professional skills acquired during their Erasmus period are being used in their daily tasks.
  • Erasmus students, more often than not, develop their careers internationally because they have almost twice as much chance of working abroad.
