ERASMUS+ INTERNSHIP

Our internship offers you a unique opportunity to acquire knowledge and practical skills. It will provide you with a global vision of the culture, as well as an understanding of the cultural and linguistic diversity of the Region of Murcia.
You will also have the opportunity to develop leadership, communication and teamwork skills, as well as an understanding of the importance of international collaboration.
We will offer you the opportunity to develop specific professional skills, such as project management, strategic planning and decision making, and provide you with an understanding of the importance of social responsibility and commitment to sustainable development.
Each internship position at our school has specific objectives and project goals, which you will be responsible for meeting during your time with us. You will be assigned a department supervisor who will provide guidance on day-to-day tasks, as well as expose you to the working environment of the Instituto Hispánico de Murcia with other interns and international Spanish students.
And please note that, as your university will finance your stay in Murcia, our school does not offer any financial remuneration.

What are the requirements to apply for an Erasmus+ internship at Instituto Hispánico de Murcia?
To enrol in the Erasmus+ Internship course you must be at least 18 years old and enrolled in a university or higher education institution. In addition, you must have a sufficient level of Spanish to be able to communicate successfully during your stay in Murcia, at least level A2 according to the CEFR. For your information, level A2 indicates a basic level in the comprehension and production of the language. A student at level A2 can understand everyday phrases and expressions, communicate in basic situations and describe their environment. The student is also expected to have a limited vocabulary and simplified grammar.
Please also note that we offer a minimum period of 12 weeks for your internship. We believe this is the minimum time necessary to acquire sufficient practical skills and knowledge. Candidates who are able to do longer internships will be given preference over others.
We are looking for a very special person with the following attributes:
- Good knowledge of Spanish (minimum A2). Other languages will be considered.
- Studies in languages, communication, translation, marketing or business, preferably.
- Excellent communication skills: speaking, writing and, above all, listening.
- Exceptional commitment to student service.
- Expectations for the future.
- Willingness to take initiatives and learn from experience.

Depending on the time of the year of your internship, your studies and your experience you will be able to participate and develop projects on:
- Marketing communication plan.

This is a European Union program that allows you, as a university student or graduate, to travel to another European country to carry out an internship in any type of public or private organisation: commercial or service companies, educational centres, museums, NGOs, etc.
These internships can be short or long term, and are offered in a wide variety of sectors. They consist of a paid internship at our international Spanish language school in Murcia. Your university will be able to support you financially to cover accommodation and living expenses, depending on the country of origin, between €300 and €600 per month.
